Morroccan rock group Hoba Hoba Spirit performed at CSPS Hall in Cedar Rapids on September 26, 2014, following a week-long residency at the University of Iowa. Here's what show-goers and participants in the residency had to say:
•
Thank you so much for coming to class and talking to us. My students enjoyed listening to the Moroccan dialect and learning more about the food, culture and life style in Morocco. They say it was interesting to hear about the differences between the rural and urban life and the linguistic diversity in Morocco. Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. We all hope to see you soon again in Iowa. I, personally, would like to think you for your authenticity and for sharing with my students all the things they will never be able to read in textbooks.
