Great performance - challenging, smart and funny is a good
combination. He comes across as a genuinely decent person and manages to discuss important topics
without being pedantic. The fact that anyone can sit at a desk and talk for two
hours and maintain the audience's attention is a remarkable accomplishment on
its own. My only regret is that the university community (specifically the
Daily Iowan) was so critical of his invitation; a more thoughtful
"read" of his work would have better represented the university. He
should be invited back and booked in a larger venue. I would have attended the
performance more than once had it fit in my schedule. Additionally, I greatly
appreciated the ticket price being affordable.

Enjoyed the show, could have been shorter and
funnier...humor was a little hard edged

I thought he was excellent. His monologue was fascinating. It seemed a little disjointed at first, but soon the vignettes soon blended together and became a coherent tale of discovery. It contained some comedy, but also introspection. I loved it.
